The institution has been
providing clinical / Rehabilitation /out-reach services to the
disabled population of J&K including far-flung areas and border
areas, including Kargil, Leh, Baramulla, Kupwara, Rajouri,
Poonch, R.S.Pora Jammu, Kishtwar etc.
This institution also provides
comprehensive clinical services like Speech therapy,
Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, and Special Education for
Mentally Retarded, Visually Impairment, Hearing Impairment,
besides providing Orthosis & Prosthesis, Mobility aids and
Hearing aids, Vocational Guidance & Counseling to disabled
persons of this region.
This institution provided
rehabilitation services to more than 59000 persons since its
inception in June 2000, and distributed more than 11000 aids &
appliances and limbs to disabled persons under ADIP scheme, at
this institution.
